The team behind Moving Journals has been helping non-profits with their gala dinners and events for decades. During this time, it became painfully obvious that printed ad books are inefficient, with minor revisions and edits creating major headaches for designers and typesetters, and running up the costs for the organization. Despite these ballooning costs, the end product is dramatically less appealing than a digital version. On top of that, the vast majority of these books were only used for the night of the event only to be thrown away. We wanted to create something that gave the same benefits as a printed version without any of the drawbacks.
